A Bluestocking Christmas

With wedding bells scarcely behind her, Kaybo pulled off a festive evening of deliciousness.  So much fun!  Merry Christmas, Bluestockings!

Another Bluestocking Shower

Last December, the Bluestockings showered Kate; this year it's Allie's turn!  Best wishes to another Bluestocking daughter and her soon-to-be husband.  We hope you enjoy decking the halls of your home!

Think of a Number

Kudos to Angie for a wonderful evening...the themed meal was sooooo good.  Sad we didn't get a photo of your beautiful table.

Ecology of a Cracker Childhood

As always, Ann wowed us with her attention to detail! Thanks for hosting our August meeting; everything on your 'cracker' menu was delicious!

Little Bee

Once again, the Bluestockings were treated to a great meal; original artwork by our hostess, Mary Ann, was a bonus! Ann, we missed you!

Great House by Nicole Krauss - Reading Guide

Looking forward to seeing the Bluestockings on May 19th at around 6:30.  Our menu will be a selection of summer salads.  Hopefully by then I'll be fully recovered from the wedding and my upcoming tour of Augusta and Birmingham.  :)

Here's one reading quide I found; there may be more:

Room

Thanks to Kay, we had a fabulous April meeting. Good food and lively discussion of Room (not to mention brandy slushes) were enjoyed by the Bluestockings. Oh, and we were gifted a spring party favor. Yes, my plant could use watering (and thank you for it, Jean), but at least it's not artificial (Angie, I'm talking to you!).

Mmm

French onion soup, ratatouille with shrimp, cheesecake with strawberries, lively discussion...

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

HERE are the discussion questions for January's book (it's been published in 35 languages!).  I'm betting that this will be one of our best discussions ever.
